How can I safely remove ants from my laptop without harming the device?

 
I have noticed that ants have invaded my laptop and are living inside it. They come out when I open or move the laptop, and they leave trails to and from it. I have tried using the laptop for long hours to generate heat, but it did not deter them. I am concerned that they will cause damage to the hardware soon. I have not seen any signs of damage yet, but I want to prevent it. What is the best way to get rid of the ants without harming the laptop? I have already treated my house for ants, but they seem to be attracted to the laptop. Please advise.
